Incest fruit style
Recently I made a trip down to California. Among our itinerary was a visit to Knott’s Berry Farm. Okay, the less-than-omni-dependable roller coasters, overpriced fountain sodas and affiliation with right wing in its origin aside, it’s just a theme park.
And then there are boysenberries. Knott’s shortbread cookies are tasty. Those are the ones with berry-ly preserves in the middle, the ones I used to get from vending machines in college on a daily basis. The boysenberry ones in purple packaging are especially tasty. They’re sweeter.
Little had I known those innocent berries had a secret.
Suppose Blackie and Razzy mate… and make Logan…
Then Logan mate Blackie and Razzy (yes, both of them) to make an offspring…
that’s right, Boysen is born. Pretty amorous family there.
However Knott did it, boysenberries are a cross between raspberries, blackberries, and loganberries… but Loganberries are a cross between raspberries and blackberries, and so yes, boysenberries are children of this incestuous intimacy…
